No cross-referencing a separate participant list. No stale data that was accurate an hour ago but isn’t now.

Here’s the goal: whoever checking guests in — a guide, a dock hand, a front-desk operator — should glance at a screen and know exactly where things stand. No training. No manual.

Why real-time matters here specifically

A manifest is only useful if it reflects reality the moment someone needs it. Say someone adds, cancels, or moves a booking five minutes before departure. That change has to show up instantly for whoever running check-in — not after a refresh, and not after a sync delay. That’s the standard we built the new Manifest to meet.
